Once a search has been done all the links have the search and filter string added to the URL

    so for example https://thrings.com/our-people/neil-barbour/?_sft_service=agriculture-food-profile

where it should just be https://thrings.com/our-people/neil-barbour/

this is the only site where I use Search and Filter pro which does it, and I have no idea why… any ideas?

Our plugin requires the ‘query string’ to know what filter choices have been made. This will change in V3, due early next year.

Hi Trevor, ok its just that on this site, I have also made…

    http://hamlins.com/people/?_sft_people-expertise=dispute-resolution

you can see the links to the profiles don’t have the string on the url https://hamlins.com/people/kate-andrews/

are you saying tho with update V3 it will remove the string from the link urls?

like it does already on the hamlins site?

the previous site, Thrings is using Version 2.4.5

where as the Hamlins site uses Version 2.4.0 at the moment, but ill be doing the updates this weekend

The only other setting that could do this is the Make searches bookmarkable setting, which has a similar effect.

As far the need for a query string, this has not changed between those versions.
