I am juggling a fair few threads atm – I will look asap.
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) September 24, 2015 at 11:51 am #25694I have been looking Jeff – I think you have a combination of a resource issue (memory) with the caching and a frontend JS error – I’m working on something for the JS at the moment then I’ll do some debugging in the admin of your site.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) September 24, 2015 at 12:36 pm #25697THanks, I just tried some things myself. I think the resource issue is not occurring right now. But I will keep a look out for it.
I did create another search form and tried it. It works if I am running it off a page but not an archive page as mentioned earlier. I noticed on submit the URL changes to the ?sfid-formid (if the slug is not defined) or just the url/slug if slug is defined. The query part of the URL is truncated. I am not sure why this is happening..
I remember there was a similar issue before I upgraded to 1.4.3 but upgrade to 1.4.3 solved it without any intervention. I think you may get some insight from above.. ?
Ross Moderator(Private) September 24, 2015 at 10:50 pm #25799Hey Jeff I’m not too sure.
I;ve just emailed you the latest version, please set this up on your site (contains JS fix) and let me know if its working.
If not, I really will need to get a look at a link to get any further with this.
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) September 30, 2015 at 10:55 am #26202Hi Jeff
How are you getting on, did you upload the latest version?
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) October 5, 2015 at 7:39 am #26481Hi Ross,
No luck on this side. I have updated version of 2.0.1 but when I try to search from the category page, the URL is missing the search query string. If I use the search query string directly ( i have hard coded it from the sliders) it works perfectly.
Please Help.
Ross Moderator(Private) October 6, 2015 at 6:43 pm #26647Hey Jeff
Its certainly odd, I’m going to have to take a look at your setup more closely.
Do you have ftp details I could use? Let me know if you prefer to email these to me.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) October 9, 2015 at 9:29 am #26937Hello Ross,
I really need a resolution for this.
I tried to look at everything again. I realized, that when the search form is submitted the result page uses the index template instead of the archives template as set in the setting for S&F.
Please help!
