    Did not work 🙁 I tried to sort by both name and slug, also cleared the caches. Did not work.

    Try deactivating this plugin:

    Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order

    But I use that plugin to sort my categories in alphabetical order on the blog page, unless you know a different way? https://hceg.org/blog/
