Do you see the Search form ID in the URL when you search, something like mysite.com/?sfid=234?

    Hi Trevor,

My search page url indeed changes to include sfid=1234. But my question is how can I query this url in my search results template (template used to display the search results).

When I query using the standard WordPress functions (permalink, archive link…), I do not get the URL as is displayed on the search results page. Related to this, the title and the meta tags of the search results page take the values of the blog page. I would ideally like it to change to say ‘Search results’.

You should be able to use the get_query_var function.
