    OK, so, the format seems to work after I made 3 changes:

    #1. Set this setting:

    This gets the breadcrumbs correct to say Home > Search. With this set, it says Home > Blog.

    #2. Deselect using a custom template:

    It will now use the Blog template.

    #3 Change the Blog template in the Theme settings to Module 16 (it was module 15):

    This is the same Module as already used by the normal theme Search:

    This seems to be the only way to do it.

    Is that OK? It hasn’t messed up any other part of your site? It did (as you can tell) take me ages to find this method. If all is OK, can I close this thread?

    i checked all site parts and main search and everything looks normal.
