    Hello there!

    I have one quick question. In my website shipping.careers I have on the left side a search sidebar. While the dropdowns with product taxonomies work admirably, the search seems to not return any results from products.

    If you will see above there is only product ‘CARELL S.A – Project Manager’, which has as tags “shipyard” and “project manager”.

    I have two questions:

    1) Does the search, searches everything inside a product i.e. descriptions, tags, names etc?
    2) Why does it not return the results for this one product only?

    Our plugin does not directly allow you to do text searches of individual Post Meta data. The Search & Filter Pro Text Search field uses the standard WordPress search, so looks only in the Post Title and Content. To help you control this better, on the form’s Advanced settings tab you will see 2 settings for Relevanssi.

    The documentation for this is here:

    You would need to install and activate the free Relevanssi plugin as well.

    Then set it up and build its index.

    In the Relevanssi settings is a single entry setting to support custom fields.

    Thank you for your swift reply.

    Explain me something, the woocommerce products belong to this category of post title and content search? The search bar I am mentioning searches inside woocommerce’s products and that’s why I am curious.

    If you search for a single word you know to be in the title of a product, does it find it?

    Nope it does not!

    This is the only registered product:
    https://shipping.careers/product/carell-s-a-project-manager/

    and at the shop page:
    https://shipping.careers/shop

    If you enter any of the words on the title it does not show anything, just refreshing (ajax) the categories shown

    So, it looks like the standard text search searches only Posts (which is what the standard WordPress search does, so I expected that). Did you try using Relevanssi?

    Yes I tried, indexed it but it is not working!
