Search from within UI-Tabs

Hi, I’ve been trying to run a search from a UI-Tabs box, which has 2 tabs.
On one tab I have a per price search, and on the other one I have a category search.

Everything works fine with the 1st tab, but the problem arises when the search is activated from the 2nd tab, because it returns all categories, instead of the ones chosen.

I’ve known there to be some issues with UI Tabs executing some code. So don’t really know what’s going on. Have you had issues with TABS as well? Any help or guidance appreciated.

I’m trying to mimic TRIVAGO’S search bar function-wise.

Also I would like to mention that the pulldown menus are broken for smartphones. I’ve been trying to set them up, but they are not selectable on the phone.
