    – We Add New Search Form and we select only names as a (Custom Post Type) after we search the form S&F-Pro keep send result from all posts although we choose the posts from names only…..can you see why S&F-Pro keep render the search from all posts.

    – Can you add a menu to exclude specific taxonomy from the search form we have long list we need to choose from the menu instead of the ID only.

    – Why Advanced settings option in the taxonomy menu do not open.

    We USE :
    S&F-Pro : v1.1.4
    Wordpress: v3.9.1 LocalHost

    Hey Ibnoman

    1. Post types – when you press submit on the form and perform a search, are all the post types still displayed? I’m not sure why this is happening

    2. I am planning to add a popup which will list all the terms and you select them by checkbox to make this easier – should get started on this in about a week.

    3. Advanced settings will show/hide “order terms by” and “Exclude IDs”…. It looks like from your screenshot that layout is broken, so I will look in to this and fix it – what browser/OS are you using so I can test?

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,

I appreciate the quick response and your support ,that to show how you are really dedicated.

As an answer to the points it’s as the following:

    1. When I press submit on the form and perform a search, all the post types still displayed…..YES although I choose the posts from names only…..very strange.

    2. Thank you for listening to us waiting to implement his feature soon from you.

    3. The Browser/ Firefox: v29.0.1 OS/Windows: 7.

    Thanks

    Hey ibnoman

    I’ll take a look at this tomorrow…

    Regarding the post types…

I’m thinking this must be another plugin which modifies the query, or some custom code using pre_get_posts?

Can you try on another theme just to test the plugin so I can get an idea of where the problem is?

Do you have any custom code in functions.php that might affect the display of the results?

    Thanks

    Hi Ross,

True it was another plugin which modifies the query, or some custom code using pre_get_posts.

    Thanks
