    Changes made to the search form settings are instantly reverted once the page reloads.

    From enabling/disabling auto-count to excluding ID’s nothing sticks.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Has it ever saved, and how many fields are in the Form UI?

    It has yes, and 3 plus the submit button.

    If you go to WP Admin -> Search & Filter -> System Stats, what is the variable PHP Max Input Vars set to? The PHP default is 1000, but is often insufficient (each setting can take 50-100 to be able to save). I usually set my server to 2500 (and maybe up to 10000 if I have a big menu, for example).
