    Hi,

    I was wondering if there is any method to change the default layout (design) of the search form other than manually writing custom css codes?

    At this time no. You must either manually edit the form, or use inline CSS tools such as SO-CSS, Yellow Pencil or Microthemer.

    How can I manually edit the form? I was looking for the php file containing template for search form, but I found the template file only for search results. Where is the template file for search form?

    At this stage of development for the plugin, you cannot edit the code that makes the form. But, if you install one of the aforementioned plugins, they let you ‘edit’ the form in the front end (in a visual way) by clicking on the elements in the page.
