    Hi,

I’ve found in your forum the Search & Filter Pro VC plugin which is great, although I’m having a problem with it.

It display the results correctly initially, then when you apply 1 filter parameter it filters the results correctly, but if you apply a 2nd filter parameter it doesn’t change the results.

Let me know if you need any more details about my setup.

    Cheers!

Are you able to send me a live link/URL to your search page so I can take a look? Can you give me sample search to make, and what the results should look like and what they do look like by way of comparison?

    Hi Trevor,

Yeah sure, I’ve just set up a page for it…

    https://unboxed.gallery/artfeed-new

This setup is slightly different than the one when I lodged the support ticket. The normal filter page is /artfeed/ then the search filter pushes it to /artfeed/search/

But for this sample above, I’ve made a duplicate of the search filter (so as not to disrupt the live one) and put it on the page listed above. Does that make sense? Anyway, it looks like if you specify a filter (any one of them) then press F5 to refresh the page then the filter applies.

Hopefully that answers your question. The results should be obvious but let me know if not.

That form is using the shortcode display results method? It should be using the VC Post Grid method.

Also, the comboboxes are using the Chosen script. In the plugins, I would change that to Select2 (it is better for iPhones).

Yes it is already using the Post Grid method.

I’ve changed the Combobox settings to Select2, but there is no difference. The filtering still doesn’t work unless you manually refresh the page after setting your filter options.

    Thanks

Sorry Trevor, my bad. I just realised what you meant by changing the form to use Post Grid method. Thanks for that. All working great now!
