Hello!
I installed following:
- Search & Filter Pro
- Elementor
- Elementor Pro
- Search & Filter – Elementor Extension</>
And using Elementor Pro, I created two columns and put Search & Filter form widget in one and put Post Widget in other.
I chose my filter for the form and the query of the Post Widget.
It doesn’t filter.
Here is the link for the page https://nocodeweb.jp/home-el/This is what I tried and didn’t work:
- Using shortcode widget in Elementor instead
- Created a new form and didn’t modify at all
- Enabling/disabling Ajax
What’s working:
If I don’t use Elementor, it works.
Here is the page that’s not using Elementor and working.
I just embedded with
https://nocodeweb.jp/What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your time!
Trevor(Private) November 4, 2020 at 10:06 am #265230We now have a free additional extension for Elementor Pro, which you should download (if you are logged in) from top of this guide page:

Anonymous(Private) November 4, 2020 at 10:06 am #265232Hmmm actually, when I made a test site, it’s working with the same setup…
Ahh, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong in this particular site.
Maybe the other plugins…
The site is in Japanese and some other people might be editing at the same time so I don’t want to give you the credentials just yet.
I will try to figure out for a couple more hours. I will let you know the result.
If I can’t figure out, I will create a new user for you.Thank you very much!
Trevor(Private) November 4, 2020 at 10:23 am #265236Other plugins might be it. Sometimes, when you select and save the form name in the Search & Filter widget, AND in the Posts widget, for some reason, it does not save. I think it might be related to the server PHP max_input_vars setting. If you are using a different server for the test site, that might be it.
The default PHP server max_input_vars setting is 1000, which is barely sufficient for WordPress, 5,000 or even 10,000 would be much better. The setting can be seen in WordPress admin, here:
Anonymous(Private) November 4, 2020 at 10:59 am #265244I figured it out!
It was totally my fault.
I had a plugin called AssetCleanup and it was preventing one of the file for the Search & filter Pro from loading.
Sorry for taking your time!
Also, I will increase the max_input_vars anyway.Thank you so much, Trevor!
By the way, I love Search & Filter Pro.Naomi
