Hi Trevor,
I’m creating my first bi-lingual site using Events Manager and Search & Filter Pro.
The default language is German. The filter works mostly as expected, except that oddly enough here and there an English result will pop up in the German results and out of chronological order. The English was added by the Events Manager WPML plugin. Even when I remove the categories of the English event and delete all caches, the event still appears.Do you have any idea what might be happening here, and any tips on preventing this?
Thanks in advance.
Jean
Trevor(Private) February 20, 2019 at 10:26 am #202746Are these the same events, shown in German or English, or are they different events? It must be something about the way they have been translated, or the terms attached to them.
Is it always the same (wrong) events showing up? Is it always English events showing in German results, or does the opposite happen as well?
Anonymous(Private) February 20, 2019 at 3:41 pm #202792I didn’t enter the events myself so I cannot say whether something was done differently with these events — and yes it is always the same ones showing up. I clicked on one of the wrong “English” results and the German event opened. Then I permanently deleted two translations and then reentered them — now they do not appear in the German results. So it is evidently a problem with Events Manager and/or the user entering the events.
Thanks for your help!
