    Hi Jessica. It is because the two form fields I see are in different forms. You need to have two custom taxonomies attached to the post type you are using for the recipes. You can add them with a free plugin called CPT UI. I would suggest calling them Diet and Course and then you can add them to one form using the Taxonomy type field in the Form builder UI.
