    Hi

I just bought the plugin, I’ve downloaded it, installed it, activated it, entered the license # and followed your instructions to create my first search form.

Firstly, I’m getting a warning on the Search and filter page that “The caching tables are missing – click here to create them”, I’ve checked the db using phpmyadmin and the tables do actually exist and have entries, how can I get rid of the warning?

    Hi Mike

    Max Mega Menu maybe?

Can you follow the advice in this thread:

    https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/problem-with-caching-tables/#post-73252

… but modify the SQL to heed the advice in this post:

and don’t forget to rebuild our cache when you have made the tables.

I’ve reset my form to the instructions here: https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/getting-started/creating-your-first-search-form/

    Nothing is found 🙁

If you look in the wp-config.php file, are there any uppercase letters in the prefix? I ask, because that will be the problem. Your database will have converted them to lowercase and so there is a mismatch. It IS possible to change the wp table prefix, but complex. You will need to find an online guide for the steps needed to do it.

    Hi Trevor

Good spot, the db did have a capitalised letter, I’ve done this before so I was confident to do it now and that has got rid of the warning.

Now all we have to do is get the plugin working, I’ve set the search field to the simple one in the documentation but it’s finding nothing.

    Any ideas?
