Hey everyone – please find the new instructions for using Ajax added to the docs page:

Thanks!
Anonymous(Private) August 25, 2014 at 1:32 pm #3927Hey,
how can I update my current version to the newest one so that I can use the new method of AJAX?
I tried activating my licence from the plugin settings panel but didnt receive any notifications about the update, so it is still using the version 1.1.6.
Looking forward to your response,
Jarmo
Ross Moderator(Private) August 26, 2014 at 1:30 pm #3964Hey Jarmo, once you enter your license key, you must press submit, then when the page refreshes there is an “activate” button… Did you press this?
I noticed that your license is not yet activated so am assuming this is the reason why.
Are you by any chance running locally?
Ross Moderator(Private) August 27, 2014 at 10:27 pm #4027Ah Jarmo, if you were local in the beginning, you must select “deactivate” license, before “activating” on the live server. Did you do this?
Hey Christophe – are you running local or online?
Ross Moderator(Private) August 27, 2014 at 10:28 pm #4028Hey Pius, how are you doing, did you get it working? If not please open a new thread and I will help.
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) August 28, 2014 at 2:07 am #4052Hi Ross,
I’m obviously doing something wrong. The search works if I uncheck AJAX. With AJAX checked, no results even when clicking submit. I am a little bit confused about the results shortcode and where Exactly this should go [searchandfilter id=”1″ show=”results”]. I have the search form loaded as a widget, want someone to be able to get results on any page/post including archives.
Also note, I am using the Genesis framework with child theme. Search.php resides at the parent theme level. I can provide admin in private if want to look directly.
Much Appreciated!

Update: I said the search worked with AJAX unchecked but that is incorrect. The form works and page refreshed but finds no results even when obvious phrases used….
Also note that I had relevansi, Dave’s pretty auto, and your unpaid version of search&filter installed and active when I installed and activated this one. I since deactivated and ultimately deleted the other plugins, still no go…. Thanks!
