Hi guys!
Really looking forward to your assistance in this double thing.
So:
1. Inside the very Search & Filter Pro search form, I’m using post meta and taxonomy fields, some of them were created with ‘Advanced Custom Fields’ plugin and are working properly. The thing is when I’m entering some value in the main search field (street address with Google Places autocompletion particularly), on the Search Results page I get 3 results (which is actually, the total amount of posts created with ACF) but not the only one result of the post which exactly meet the address set inside the search field.
For the better illustration, please check this 40-second no-audio screencast – http://take.ms/jjr1I
it also demonstrates the 2nd issue, which is
2. In your changelog, it was being said that the version 2.4.0 has a fix of ‘an issue with a number range field not resetting properly’.
But seems we’re still getting it.Even while the price range was set ‘300 – 3500’, on the Search Results page inside the search form on the left side (which was embedded via shortcode) the price range displays reset ‘300 – 300’ somehow.
Could you advise on these, please?
Best wishes,
PaulAnonymous(Private) February 12, 2018 at 5:37 pm #159163I see.
In terms of Relevanssi plugin > I’ve switched it on, but now then no results at all are showing for the same search term (which is ’35 Elizabeth St.’ …)
In terms of ‘Tags, Categories, Taxonomies’ + AND > in General settings tab I’ve selected now ‘OR’ as a field relationship, but no luck with the search results.
Trevor, and what could you say concerning the number field issue?
Trevor(Private) February 12, 2018 at 6:03 pm #159183That field relationship setting will not affect that settings tab. It affects on fields in the Form UI. Using multiple lines if includes will be AND.
That address, where is it stored in the database? In the Title, content, taxonomy, custom field … ?
Trevor(Private) February 13, 2018 at 3:55 pm #159368Ah, then it might be that Google Places Autocomplete that is the issue?
I do not know why the index did not build the first time I tried. Probably a server timeout. It should be OK now.
If it does not work with that autocomplete, then it must be doing something odd. Or it may be Relevanssi. I have just changed the default operator in Relevanssi from OR to AND.
