OK. There were 3 forms set to Post Type Archives for Posts, but you can only have one. For now, I have changed 2 forms to Custom (but made no changes to setup other than this). This will remove the possibility of error.

I am looking at form #24490, which appears on the home page.

From your WordPress setup, I think ALL 4 of these settings should be OFF:

Can you change these and save and try again?

Do not get in a hurry, take a look tomorrow or when you were able to do it.
    Thanks

    From your post:

I am not sure now what else you need me to look at? The theme search may be using a different template to the template that the Post Type Archive search is using. It may not be coded to cope with a no results situation.

If you are using combobox, which is what I would have suggested, make sure, in our plugin settings, to use the Select2 script, NOT the Chosen script.

    Hi,

Comboboxes work great. I just had to code some CSS to make it like other form elements of the Theme.

Combobox Script: Why Select2 instead of Chosen ? I experienced no issue, they work fine.

Also both search forms work great.

    https://new.foodiesandtravellers.com/series/saborear (series taxonomy archive)

The only thing I couldn’t make work is the keyword input.
Now there is an input field in the homepage just for testing purposes.
Somehow what ever I write I get many results, maybe the reason is the active Theme. Don’t worry about that, I will not user keyword search.
