search categories with tag in shortcode

Hi, Is there a way to pass a tag in the shortcode to the search form, so that my user not has to select the tag, but only a category? Example: my tags are locations and my site knows (mostly) the location where my user is. My user needs to search for all posts in a category / tag “and” relation, but it is a little bit stupid to ask my user to select the tag, as my site already has the users location in a variable. So, I was thinking of passing the known tag in the shortcode which starts the search form. Of course, I could make many many search forms, one for each tag, but it might save me a lot of work if it could go via the shortcode. Thanks for your awesome plugin, I realy enjoy the speed!

It cannot go via the shortcode, but if you have it available to PHP in the template, you might be able to use one of our filters. I would suggest the filter input object?
