    Hi, I have a search and filter on a site and am using very simple rules:

    1) search post type: properties (a custom post type I have added)
    2) search through particular category in that post type

    the search form has 1 field from the available fields ‘Search’, a simple text input.

    If I search for a particular phrase which I know is there I get 106 results (the amount of posts I have in the category) and then have to search manually for the item.

    If I add gibberish, the same happens, 106 results.

    I have tried installing relavanssi, adding weight to the titles (where the search terms are) and activating this in advanced options in the search form but again, 106 results.

    any ideas what might be wrong?
