I’m trying to create an archives page with filtering controls at the top plus a search box that sits in the header of a site. You can see what I’m trying to do at http://548.686.myftpupload.com/search/ aand I need assistance on how to get a search box that will feed results that can be filtered to the archives page?
Trevor(Private) April 1, 2017 at 7:54 pm #100879If I understand you, do you want the search box and the filters to work, in effect, as one form, but be in separate parts of the page?
If I am correct in my understanding, then this is not a feature currently advertised for Search & Filter Pro. It WILL become possible when we release V3 is some months’ time.
OTOH, if you want the search in the header to go to the same results page as the filters (where the results page would initially loads results according to EITHER the search text OR the filters), that can be done.

From there I’d like the results to kick over to the same page as archive/search page that allows for filtering. I was merely saying is there a way to pull the HTML directly from the form and use only a portion? Can I create a separate search box that pipes to that same archives/search page?
