The DIV / container for your logo is overlapping the first dropdown.

If you click on the very bottom of it, you can just about open it.

Ooops, you are right! What about the search button, is there a way to let the search start only after I hit search? Otherwise the button is pretty useless.
Also is there a way to display a post excerpt on the list page? Now the full posts are displayed and they also pretty expanded.
Please let me know, thanks a lot!

In the settings for the form find the one called Auto Submit and switch it off. Now the search will only happen if you press the button. See it in this screenshot (but below where the red box is).

Which display method are you using? Is it the Shortcode method or another?

Instead, why not use a Visual Composer grid? Our plugin supports these. See this post:

It will make things easier for you, as I see you already use the VC Grid elsewhere in the site, yes?

Thanks, I downloaded and installed VC extension but it does not work, see this page: http://demo.polimedia.net/federcasa/circolari/
The addon has no options https://db.tt/KpU414Cnqv so I don’t understand what I am missing.
The page was working with the shortcode before.
I only want to make the result list cleaner and shorter, possibly with just the article titles, not the full article with a lot of space as it was before.

That is for the form to display. You also need to add a VC Grid Element (and set that up) to display the results.

Thanks, but I don’t think I getting exactly what you mean.
I added a post grid https://goo.gl/MBHCdY but the result is worse than before http://demo.polimedia.net/federcasa/circolari/ all I want is plain old list of posts, possibily showing just the title in the list, but this does not seem an option in the post grid settings: https://goo.gl/FJIzEI
Can you please help me in getting such result?

You have to edit the grid and make one to your liking.

Thanks a lot for your helpful tips.
I succeded in fixing the post grid look.
But the search and filter form does not work, see the page http://demo.polimedia.net/federcasa/circolari/ if I make a selection and hit CERCA (search) nothing happens.
I don’t see any options in the VC search and filter addon, so I don’t know what to do.
