I’ve had a look through the forums for an answer, but difficult to ascertain if they are the same or the functionality is working or should work.
I have a test site with the search filter and results on the same page using the shortcode principle. Created a custom Results page.
• Loading results using Ajax
• Searches bookmarkable
• Only using Ajax on the results page
• Scroll window to: Results Container on All
When a new filter input has been checked the page automatically refreshes to the top of the page with Ajax results update. I need the page to either stay at the same point as the filters or the results container. On the particular page the results are a little way down and in turn, can be missed when refreshed if users are sent back to the top. Have I miss-understood the functionality of the SCROLL WINDOW TO. (Automatically scroll the page when new results are loading). The theme is Astra, but a child theme has been created to customise the site, but nothing that should conflict with this. I have tried with or without infinite scroll, and different SCROLL WINDOW TO options. None seem to work.

Scroll window to may need to be set to a jQuery object (a class or ID name) that represents where the results start, otherwise it will typically scroll back to the start of the form.
I would need to see the search results page, and you would need to let me know where in the page you need it to scroll to.
