    Hi There,

Hopefully you can help, i love the plugin, but have a problem. I have a custom post type of events, and it shows post that are in the future, this way any events that have happened are removed automatically. Essentially it only shows scheduled posts. So i then wanted to add a filter, and amazingly you allow for post status of scheduled. Brilliant. BUt when i put a Taxonomy to filter and then select hide empty terms it does not show anything in the dropdown. If i turn this off it shows the terms, but then it is adding terms that may be empty.

    Any way round this?

Do you have both Auto Count settings ON?

Can you switch this setting ON to see if that makes a difference:

Looking at the Taxonomy term pages in your admin, the counts there too are 0, so my guess is that WordPress doesn’t count terms until the posts are actually published. I have referred this question to our developer, Ross, for his input.

    Hi James

I’ve been having a look into, and indeed it does seem like the scheduled post type doesn’t show up in the dropdown.

We do provide support for any post status (including custom ones) so it should work.

I saw you have a setting disabled (which I assumed was the issue) – auto count – when it is disabled, we use the WP count numbers, and whne it is enabled, we do our own detection…

However this did not fix it.

Before we go further, I see a lot of plugins are out of date – could you get all this updated?

Once you’ve done that, I’ll setup a local dev environment to try to recreate your issue (if it still exists).

    Best
