Hello ans thank you for all your work till now.
I have the Pro Version of the plugin.
I have installed it in a site build with the Roots WordPress Theme http://roots.io/starter-theme/. I have various issues like ajax filtering working only for date and nothing else. Also when I set a template file for results it loads with no styling at all (as if the WordPress head is not loaded at all). Just a white page with whatever is in the loop loaded with results and no styling at all.
Drawing from the previous issues I have a few questions that need answering.
1) Can you tell me if there are incompatibilities between your plugin and Roots? If yes can you pinpoint what may be causing them so I can just override/fix it?
2) The template file. Can you explain this a bit more. In the documentation it is very very lightly explained. For example when you say template you mean like a WordPress template file that adheres to the WP template standards, eg archive-cpt_name.php, or just any file name (my_template.php) that I put in my theme’s root and is used as a template? Also can I have an example of such a template file? How is this file built and is it included or loaded somehow?
3) As I said I have very strange behaviour in filtering ajax results. I have installed ajax with the new way, using shortcodes. Results display all, but then they are not filtered.
4) The ajax results template (results.php) can be different for different search forms, or do I have to use this single file and build controls to check from which form do the results come so I can have different formatting for different forms, eg based on cpt.
I know these are a lot but I found no examples of such templates and nowhere the no styling issue with the results so I need to know how to fix this.
Thank you for your time and effort.
Kind regards

Did you had time to take a look at this? Please let me know because it is important to make this work and I need to know if this is something you have to work on or is something I need to make fixes to work with the theme.
Thanks again for you time.
Ross Moderator(Private) September 18, 2014 at 3:23 pm #4824Hey Pablo
I just emailed you an updated plugin.
Please follow instructions here to setup – http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/#docs-new-ajax
You have an unreleased version which should have a good few bug fixes.
Sorry for the delay.

Anonymous(Private) September 18, 2014 at 5:24 pm #4825Hello.
I have installed the latest automatic update (version 1.2.4) and things have improved considerably. I am still facing some issues regarding some custom fields but I will run some more tests and come back to you.
Questions:
1) Is the plugin you emailed me different from version 1.2.4? Should I replace 1.2.4 with the emailed one?
2) I am using cpt-onomies plugin for a specific taxonomy, which unfortunately does not filter correctly. Are you aware of any issues and incompatibilities regarding this plugin?
I will get back with any custom fields questions.
Thank you for your help and time. Greatly appreciated!
