    Is it possible as someone is scrolling in the infinite scroll to have it keep their place on the page when they click on something and go back? So if someone spends a while scrolling through the results and then clicks on one they like, going back to the main index they don’t need to re-scroll through all of the posts?

    I am not aware of a way to do this, sorry. It is for the site user to adopt browsing techniques to avoid this (open link in new tab for example).
