Hi,

I recent purchased the plugin and i love it. But i have questions about layout results, i use the The7 theme:

-I don’t see a Read more link
-Can i put the feature image on the left and excerpt on the right with the Read more link?
-Can hide the categories and date?

I saw in the forum that there is an add on for visual composer. I installed and worked! Love u guys!

Then i only have one question:

-Is possible to see the number results of the search, like in normal version? (Ex. Found 2 Results)

About the add on where i can download it for future updates?

Please be ware that we now have two versions of the addon. One for Visual Composer/Page Builder pre v5.5 and a different version for 5.5+

I think we will be placing the addon on Github, but it is still in beta right now.

Additional features will probably come after we release v3 of our plugin (some months away yet).

Hi,

I made a searcher with different groups of categories (Ex. Bikes, Scooters, Car) but when i select one category form Bikes and one category from Scooters only appears the result of Scooter one, the Bike one disappears. The relation between categories is in OR but don’t seems to work.

Check City bike in Bikes category and Scooter 50CC from Scooter category, only appears the Scooter one.

All of the groups are category posts, i don’t know that it’s the way that the plugin works or i have to do this in another way.

You are currently using category for what should be six separate taxonomies, so you would need to add at least 5 more custom taxonomies.

The reason for this is that, in general, you can use a particular Taxonomy (or Category/Tags, each Taxonomy and each Custom Field) only once in the form. As suggested above, you would need to make additional custom taxonomies. This post tries to explain this a bit better (you can use a plugin to switch category terms from category to any new taxonomy that you make, so it is not so hard to do). It is a really awful preachy lecture I wrote:

Sorry about the tone, but the message is right and it links to good plugins (except taxonomy switcher I think).

IF you need to get one filter change to when another is set with an option, on the General settings tab:

Set Auto Count (both settings) to ON

And then in the Form UI:

In each field set Hide Empty to ON

Thanks for the quick response!

I did it and it works!

The only thing i don’t know how to do is if i check City Bikes from bikes taxonomy i want that when i click in price, only appears the bike in this price, and not the bike and the scooter. I put prices in AND condition but don’t work.

Hi,

I think i can explain better the previous message.

When i have two or more Taxonomies in “OR” condition and i want one taxonomy in condition “AND” in relation to the other taxonomies i don’t know how to do it.

In the example i need that when you click the “City bike” and “Prices” only appear the “City bike” in that price, not all others vehicles in that price.

You want to be able to select both bikes and scooters and for the results to show both choices? In the General Settings you might need to change Field relationships to OR (normally it is set to AND) to do this.
