Hi,
I managed to get the Plugin to work seamlessly using the shortcode method to show the search results. However, I wanted a Mansory grid look so that the user would not have to scroll endlessly for a quicker big picture of the results.
I used the suggested 3rd party plugin “Post Grid” and followed your instructions as documented. When the search is performed on another page, the results will appear on the result page correct. However, when the user wants to edit that search (which I added on top of the result page) the results won’t show unless I refresh the page manually (i.e. F5) The “reset” button does not function either.1. Is there something I missed? What do I have to do to get the page to refresh automatically upon submit?
2. Is there an alternative to using the Post Grid plugin – can you point me to a documentation on how to show my search results in a Mansory grid without the plugin? My theme supports mansory grid – can’t I use this? Thanks for any help
Trevor(Private) November 11, 2019 at 11:12 am #226193I think I can see an error in the form setup. The Ajax Container looks wrong. At present it is not setup for Post Grid correctly, it should be:
#post-grid-3384
Using your theme’s own masonry grid requires that you know how to re-trigger that Masonry when an Ajax search is done (as each theme codes it differently, we cannot make any generic code to do that). We do have a code snippet to prepare to trigger that Masonry code, but it is missing that critical code.
