Please help me with the results search.
I have few problems with the result page:
1) I would like to remove the date and author from the result post.
2) I cannot go back from the results page in the browser.3) I created a form and chose few fields such as “Sort Order” by, however it is doesn’t give me the specific search results. My results are displayed by the latest posts. I would like the search results to be more specific, for example, I would like them to be displayed by the package number.
I specified my tags for the page such as 3×1 Pump Combiners C4, and included specific tags in the form, but the results still coming in by the latest post. The only way I can get specific results if I assign Tag Option in Search Form UI, but I have so many tags it looks messy. What can I tweak to make more specific results?
Here is the link to my search form.

Thank you so much!

Ross Moderator(Private) May 12, 2015 at 7:54 pm #17327Hi there
1) To customise your results you must first set a specific template to use from you theme, and then you can customise this to remove the info you do not want. Please read the docs here:
2) Enable “bookmarkable URLs” – this will update the URL and allow you to press back to get back to the results if you’ve clicked through on to a specific result.
Clicking back at the moment will not cycle through previous searches – this is being added in v2.0 of the plugin.
3) This may be related to point (1) – You have not chosen a specific file from your theme to use for displaying your results, so it makes it hard to figure out whats going on – but normally, once you have chosen a specific template, and the results are not being affected by the user input – then you would have to modify the template according to this FAQ question: http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/faqs/#h-bad-template
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) May 17, 2015 at 7:27 pm #17698Hey Irina
You cannot sort by Tags, if you add a “sort order” field, you will see all the available options, or if you check in “settings & defaults” under the “posts” tab.
I am not sure I understood your previous message, and that link your provided now shows a 404?
Thanks
