Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Remove /shop/ from URL in Woocommerce Display Mode
In v 1.x I used the archive mode to display s+f and the url’s that were created did not contain /shop/ in the URL.
Now with V 2.x being able to use the Woocommerce display type, /shop/ shows up in the URL but everything else is the same … I have used the previous URLs many times on my site, blog etc. Is there any way to use the Woocommerce display type and remove the /shop/ part from the URL?
Or is the only option to continue using the archive display mode?
Thank you for an awesome plugin!
Hey John
In this case you probably just want to use the archive mode then.
The shop mode was just added to work directly on the WooCommerce shop page – so users didn’t have to worry about setting URLs or templates – it makes for a much faster setup.
To use a different URL you do have to use one of the other display methods.
Thanks
Hey John
You’ll probably need to leave that custom code – archive mode has not been improved in terms of WooCommerce template compatibility.
Thanks
