Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Exclude post from certain category from results
Hey,
I have installed Search & Filter Pro in my site and it works very well! The only problem i have is that i cant seem to find how to exclude posts from a certain category from the results.
For example i have a post category named “Blog” and one named “Reviews”. I want my search from to only retrieve results from the post category called “Reviews”.
I tried to add a html-class to every result from the “Blog”-category and then use jQuery remove to remove all elements with that class. It worked to remove the elements but the label that are showing number of hits (“Found [X] Results”) still shows the number of results including the ones from the “Blog”-category.
Does anybody have a way to fix this?
In your Filter, there are Tabs labeled “General”, “Display Results”, “Posts”, “Tags, Categories & Taxonomies”, “Post Meta”, and “Advanced”.
What you want is under “Tags, Categories & Taxonomies” – there are options there to exclude (or include) whatever you need to.
