    Hi! I’m hoping someone can help me get Relevanssi working…

    I have an archive template that uses S&F to provide a nice way for users to search and filter through the content on our site… There are checkboxes and dropdowns for categories and tags etc, but there is also a regular manual search input, and when they use the manual search box to search for a word, it is supposed to use Relevanssi, but it does not seem to be doing that.

    If I do a traditional search (using /?s=search_term) it works, but not on the search results in the archive template. Is there anything I might be missing on my archive that is not allowing this to work?

    You will see on the above screenshot that I’m getting a notice about not using a custom page template. But checking or unchecking the box here https://nimb.ws/iAEmsh does not seem to do anything. (I am using Beaver Builder with a Beaver Themer archive template. I also tried integrating the BB-S&F plugin but had the same results.)

    Hi thanks so much for your response. Well I actually solved part of this myself — the difference at first was the posts returned and the order of them, but then I noticed that there was a separate setting to sort by relevance, which was not set. Now that this is set correctly, it seems that the two searches are returning almost the same results (minor differences in order sometimes but not enough to worry about).

    Now the main difference is that the custom excerpts and highlighting are not working but I see that is not supported, so that solves that!
