Relevanssi Version 3.5.11.1 |
Search filter pro Version 2.3.4
Search highlighting is not working even though it’s enabled in the settings.
I’m using a custom results template within my theme but it’s just using a standard loop:
<?php if ( $query->have_posts() ) : while ( $query->have_posts() ) : $query->the_post(); ?>
<?php global $post; echo get_lib_card($post); ?>
<?php endwhile; endif; ?>
The get_lib_card function just pulls several custom fields.
Just to test, I used var_dump( $post->post_highlighted_title ); from within relevanssi/lib/search.php around line 1405 and it did corrently return the highlighted title.
I also tried to use relevanssi_the_title() from within my results template which did not work either.
Thanks!
Relevanssi builds an index of posts AND offers you many formatting and tagging options. At this time, we do not support the latter. Our plugin only supports the use of the index that it builds.
We are working on V3 of Search & Filter right now. One of the features of V3, we hope to make is optional addons, one of which will be for Relevanssi, where we hope to make use of those features of Relevanssi.
