No recommendation, the confusion was more like a personal issue – skipping the main parts of instructions, how pathetic but i thought it will speed up the process. i swear i’m not the only one, at least i have admitted it init=))
btw i forgot to mention regarding some small bugs…
1) home page link: After awesome search filtering through my products, when i press home page link, it brings me to “http://www.website.com/search/?_sft_download_type=music-song” and shows me some other page instead of original home page.
2) Filter results: search filtering sometimes works on the second time when you press search (when it auto refreshes the page).
My settings:
Ajax-Load results using Ajax?: unchecked.
Auto submit form: unchecked.
Maintain Search Form State: checked.
Enable Auto Count is enable with update the search form.
Choose which kinds of pages S&F will try to do this on: checked as Tag, Category & Taxonomy Archives.
advance/Force is_search to always be true?: checked.
The rest is standard settings..Not a big deal, but still, if you have a solution will be awesome – regarding those bugs.
Cheers

For 1) – disable “maintain search form state” – this feature will be improved in the future.
2) Do you have a link for this?
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) March 2, 2016 at 3:37 pm #38468Hey Henry
I just had a look.
Searching seems to work fine for me?
Can you give me a step by step to see this issue?
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) March 2, 2016 at 3:45 pm #38469OK np.
1) Go to home page (the main page)
2) On the filter choose Type: Instrumentals, and press search.
Basically it should show 5 trakcs but it;s showing all 6 tracks
and when you have been redirected to /search2166/ page with results and try again to filter it works.
Thanks:)
Ross Moderator(Private) March 3, 2016 at 12:17 am #38514Very odd.
I’m not seeing this issue.
When I click “instrumental” from the homepage, and then search, I get redirected to
search2166/?_sft_download_type=instrumental-compostion
and there are 5 results.
When you submit hte form on the homepage, the URL redirects to the results URL.
Ie, the results are created from the URL
search2166/?_sft_download_type=instrumental-compostion
So it shouldn’t make a difference where the form is submitted.
I tested this on Windows, across FF, Chrome and IE, and it worked on all of those (showing 5 results).
Thanks
