    To add custom field to a form, use the Post Meta block in the Form UI.

    How were these fields made? Did you use ACF? If so, beware that when selecting the meta key name, NOT to choose the one starting with underscore. This applies ONLY to fields made with ACF.

    If you don’t have it, get the ACF plugin from WordPress.org and then have a go at making the fields, and before you add any data, or add them to the search form, show me what you made if you have any qualms?

    If the fields are already there, then you could add them in one go to the form, but the cache will rebuild, yes. And no need for ACF either.

    If you already have the field, deactivate ACF for now.
