Problem with search result

Hello Ross,

I bought your plugin recently but I have an issue on how the search should work.

the actual live website is: http://bit.ly/1zeDcPc

If I choose a category from the right drop down (without provide any text to search) it just redirect to the home page.

Could you give me some directions on how to get the category or the price filter or the text search for work autonomously. It should do an AND search i.e. If I provide text it should only return results with the text in the given category and price range.

Hopefully you can understand my problem (I’m not english native).

Hey Andrea

You must tick the option “use custom template” in the admin.

The you must supply a filename (inside your theme folder) for displaying your results page.

Some good ones to use are usually archive.php, category.php, search.php – I think because you did not choose your template that it is defaulting to use index.php – which is your homepage and is not capable of displaying search results.
