Forums › Forums › Search & Filter Pro › Problem with grid view for custom fields
Hello! Thank you Ross for this great plugin. I still have one minor problem. I use the filter for Products. When i filter with product tag or category it returns the result showing shop grid as i wanted it to. But when i use at the same search form some custom fields of the products it returns the result in blog grid. Any suggestions of what i could do to fix that????
Hey Chris
Would you be able to tell me a little about your setup (or a screenshot of the admin)?
Are you using Ajax? If your are not using Ajax, you should be able to change the layout of the results by ticking “use custom template” and supplying a different template file – depending on your theme the desired template file will vary.
If you are using Ajax, and you are using a shortcode, then follow the instructions here about copying over the right template files to your theme folder (http://www.designsandcode.com/wordpress-plugins/search-filter-pro/docs/#docs-new-ajax) – once you have done this, you can now modify this template so the results look how you want.
Thanks
Ross
