I have a page with one filter criteria (region). By clicking the search button the visitor is sent to a results page with items filtered by this criteria (region). This results page shows further filter criterias for a more detailed search.

How can I manage that the filter criteria from the first page (region) is automatically marked as active on the second page?

Could this pre filtering (region) be hidden on the second page?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi

I am not sure what you mean by marked as active and also what do you mean by hiding the filtering? Hiding where? In the form? Use CSS to hide the field maybe?

Thank you for your quick answer!

An example: On page 1 the visitor can filter by regions (south, west, …). He choose south and clicks the search button. Now he gets only shown results filtered by south on page 2. On page 2 are several addional filters (beside the filter regions). In the regions filter south should be allready clicked automatically when page 2 is shown. So further results will also be filtered by south without the need to click this checkbox again on page 2.

And yes I would like to hide the regions filter on page 2, but it should stay as clicked. I think I will get this point managed by CSS.

    Thank you!

You do not appear to have the region taxonomy on the results page search form. You need to do this and then use Custom CSS to set it to display:non, unless you want the user to be able to change it.
