Hi I was wondering if you could help me with an issue when using the post meta search feature
I am using the wp job manager plugin with its extensions, the resume has a taxonomy called candidate skills which i have used in the job submit form, so that users can choose which skills they want to tag in their job submission post. This is saved in a term-multiselect array under a meta key in the database.
Now in the search filter, I have added the corresponding meta key to automatically look for the available terms registered in the post type. The query comes back with only the ID of the options in both, the value and the label.
Do you have an idea if its the way the candidate skill taxonomy is defined or is there a way to tweak the search filter form to look for the slug and name?
Thanks for providing some information
So the job manager plugin stores the values in the post meta table, but it stores them as an array?
Are you looking at the values S&F finds for display in the form? In other words, is it OK (internally) to use the ID, but use some code to replace the visible label in the form to what is stored?
