Post Meta Search – Date Range/DatePicker From ACF Date Picker field

The plugin is working brilliantly.

The operator, me, is doing something wrong I am afraid. I have a CPT, posts are auto populated through a cron every 30 mins and populates a series of ACF fields. I search and filter successfully through a number of options with the exception of date.

Using S&F Post Meta – Date I began searching values generated by a text field that contained a date and time, ex. 08/18/2017 11:00am. This has consistently not returned results from development to now. I have abandoned that, created another ACF Date and Time Picker field “New Date” and am now attempting a Post Meta Search – Date and a Post Meta Search – Date Range. To no avail, no search results are return.

However, Post Meta – Choice (also set up on dev) is showing the records and field.

Clearly, I am importing to the field incorrectly to search it or have configured something incorrectly. I will provide access, some screen grabs and other info in a PM.

It is late here (so I did not look in the admin), but the date data MUST be saved as date only (no Time data) and must be saved in the YYYYMMDD type of format, and not mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy. It can be shown and formatted in the front end in these latter styles, but the storage must be as shown in the former.

Yes, Yes! Working perfectly, thanks for straightening me out! I had to change Date Display to YYYY/MM/DD on the Post Meta – Date Range. That rendered the link beautifully and am controlling output format for the records via ACF.
