    Hi Allison

I think I see the issue.

What it seems like is happening is, as you start typing, and pause, the form gets auto-submitted.

When this happens, the number you had started typing gets rounded to the nearest “step” value.

So on yours this is 0, 500, 1000…

If you are typing any 2 digit number, it will always “reset” to 0, the closest available valid value.

Try typing 355 quickly, and notice, it rounds up to 500.

If you don’t like the steps, I suggest you change the step value to something like 1, so its a lot more fluid 🙂

    Hope that helps

    Hi Ross,
Thanks for your response! I set my step to 1 but unfortunately it did not fix the problem. It still defaults to “0” for the min or “95000” for the max.

    Hi Allison

I see what you mean now, the issue I outlined above was something present in Chrome (and the rest of the browsers) so made sense to me, but now thats out of the way this issue has revealed itself.

It does only seem to be on firefox too. Notice, if you hit the “enter” key after your number, it seems to work ok.. there is some JavaScript / Firefox issue here that I’ll need to dig into, hopefully come up with something tomorrow but can’t guarantee how a long the fix will take just yet.

I suggest for now, to avoid bad usability, to change the Display values as setting in your meta field, and change this to plain text.

I’ll update when I know more.

    Hi Allison

Just to let you know S&F 2.4.0 has just been released, which has a fix for this issue.
