Hi, I have the plugin working nicely on my jobs site. However, I have a meta field for Salary which I would like to filter by range, rather than have every single figure listed. I’m using the Choice tab to display the Meta Field as a dropdown, so is there a way of filling in the Value field to return entries for say 0-25000, 25001-50000, 50001-75000?

Do you mean the same as if you chose Number type, and then selected “range radio” – but in dropdown format?
Thanks
Ross Moderator(Private) December 4, 2014 at 7:26 pm #8565Ah I see, no unfortunately this is not possible – I thought it might not be so much work to create a dropdown of ranges using the number interface but what you’re talking about is something else completely
Its a good idea but there are alot of upgrades I need to do first to the plugin 🙂
Thanks
Anonymous(Private) December 12, 2014 at 9:24 am #8987Hi Ross,
Everything is working great now, using the meta_field slider for salary range.
BUT… my client has asked for Day Rates to be searchable too. These values are in the range of hundreds whereas the salary figures are in tens of thousands, so they don’t really work in a single slider. I’ve added a new slider in the same search form for Day Rates with its own range, but the results page shows no results, presumably because no post has a value for salary AND day rate.
So, my question is: can I have results generated with values from either of the sliders, rather than having to use values from both the sliders?
cheers, Nick -
