Post Meta checked by default

Hi,

I have a custom status for products in a woo store and am trying to figure out how to either –

Have post meta checkboxes and to show all product status’ by default so it includes sold items and items on hold by default then you choose to remove them by unchecking them.

Or

If there is a way to make a post meta checkbox to Hide sold items or Hide on hold items so therefore checked would be – show all products != sold

Any ideas how to do this would be great

Currently you can only change the defaults of a field by using this filter:

Check the Gist linked in there for a really fully featured example.

What you will want to do is change the defaults as linked in the Gist – the tricky part is then choosing under what conditions to force them to be defaulted – I guess this class might help –

What you might want to do is check if anything has been filtered (the last link) and if not, setup the defaults you mention.
