Possibility of using ul instead of select menu

Ross,

Is there any way to systematically change the select menu to utilize a ul instead? I can’t style a select menu… or at least I can’t do it easily and using jQuery to swap the menu html only breaks your AJAX.

Any experience with this?

Hey Dan

There is no easy workaround – however I would recommend using a jquery plugin that styles up a select field – what they normally do is hide the select, and replace it with HTML, which I’m sure you can customise..

I haven’t used one in a while but just found this after a very brief search:

I am planning on adding in another type of field which will be a UL/LI combo as well as the existing input types you have.
