    Would this be a theme framework that you are using? Maybe Avada?

    Yeah I’m using enfold and the portfolio items were created using avia layout builder.

    The weird thing is, I am able to see the portfolio items categories in the “Include/Exclude” section of the Tags/Categories & Taxonomies tab of search and filter (see screenshot 1 below), they just dont get displayed on the front end of the results page.

    The strange thing is – it works with Tags for my custom post type (portfolio entries) but the categories doesnt work. I can make do with tags but I would have to re-tag over 100 portfolio entries when they are already properly filed into Categories.

    yeah I have Skype and Zoom, whichever is easier for you.
