    I have tried search the support forums for Poylang and have found some but none are marked as complete.

    My issue here is that once I have Polylang activated, I get this error in console: Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: when I try to filter. Everything fades out, the loader gif spins but nothing loads. I have made sure to follow the docs and it was working before polylang was activated.

    Can someone please help? What do you need from me. I am an open book.

    Did you translate the form (make the forms translatable)?

    If you mean did I create a french version and an english version then yes I have. I followed the instructions provided which appear to reference wpml instructions https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/3rd-party/wpml/

    I am not sure why the ajax is failing. So any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    I notice that the error is coming from jQuery2.1.0, whereas WordPress uses jQuery 1 (1.12.4).

    I can see the same library on the live site, but I wonder if it is being loaded by a plugin? Can you try disabling as many plugins as you can (in a way leaving S&F and the page still working)?
