Plugin Suddenly Not Working - Search & Filter Support

There are some new projects that I’ve added, that have been tagged with new categories that have been created in the past few months, that are the only projects showing up in any search results. So, I’ve been testing some things to try and trouble shoot – so far, here are the things I’ve tried:
1. I added a new project category, and applied it to an old project, and the project showed up in the results.
2. I added a new project, and tagged it with an old category, and the project showed up in the results.
3. If I add the new project category to an old project, publish it, and then remove the new project category, it seems to still be published in the results.

In all of these situations, I did not touch the search & filter settings to get the projects to show up.

I have 240 projects in the database.
