Hello.
I have installed and configured S&F but I can’t obtain results.– I created several taxonomies for searching and filter the posts in blog page.
– searchandfilter ID = 157
– I’ve added in blog widget “sidebar Compromisos”:[searchandfilter id="157"]
– I’ve added in Theme Options/CSS:<?php echo do_shortcode('[searchandfilter id="157"]'); ?>
– Ajax container set to.blog_wrapper
– I’m used Custom method (I tried other methods with the same results)However, it does not seem to be working.
Could you help me to resolve it?
Thanks in advance.Trevor(Private) April 23, 2018 at 2:20 pm #173783Hi
Did you see this thread:
https://support.searchandfilter.com/forums/topic/grid-view-using-betheme/
(ignore the private posts).
I looked at the compromisos page, but do not see the page builder adding the grid? Maybe I missed it?
I am also not sure what is meant by this:
I’ve added in Theme Options/CSS:
<?php echo do_shortcode('[searchandfilter id="157"]'); ?>
This is the same as adding the widget for the form. With your theme, you need to place a grid for the posts/results, and before that place the filter_next_query shortcode (with the form settings as you have them set to Custom). The Ajax Container will need to be determined after you get this working (I would test with Ajax off for now).

The Custom method didn’t work. I don’t know exactly why.
However, I’ve found other way to resolve it (I found it in other thread, undocumented!?): Search & Filter Pro VC plugin, which adds the VC Display Results method.
If we select this VC Display Results method, and instead of using the Muffin Builder (as in the past) we use Visual Composer to add a Post Grid, then everything works. Thanks for your help.
