I have a custom post type called ‘Topics’ and there are main topics and some sub-topics that within that, how do I get the slug to show ?_sft_topics=business-of-healthcare for the main topic (Business of Healthcare) and for the sub topic it show ?_sft_topics=business-of-healthcare/branding ?
Also has anyone yet to figure out how to rewrite the ?_sft_ to something else I’ve searched everywhere.
It will not do that for you. The only way you can get both to show in the url is to have separate taxonomies, one for the parent and one for the child. This can be done using plugins to move the taxonomy terms. It would then allow you to have two fields in the search form.
