Pagination causing a few posts to appear multiple times

Running into an interesting bug where on occasion, certain posts (it’s repeatable, and the same posts) will show up again on the next page. I have confirmed that it is infact the same post and not a duplicate post (same permalink & changing url / title on the post results in changes to both posts appearing on either page)

It seems to be related somehow to pagination, as if i increase the pagination or change to infinite scroll the issue will go away. Currently using WPpagenavi – and it seems to otherwise work fine.

if you go to the next page
https://vermonttibetanrugs.com/all-rugs/?_sft_rugtype=new-arrivals&sf_paged=2

You will see that it appears again in that page’s listing.

Other rugs don’t seem to repeat, though i’ve been told by client this happens in a few other paginations for other Rug sections.

These plugins (and any type of Taxonomy or Post order plugin, especially those that use drag and drop) can interfere with our plugin, as they rung their code after our plugin sends the query:
